About

“Is it a bird, is it a plane, is Singh really King, What does the ‘that’ mean in Meat Loaf’s “I would do anything for love, but I won’t do that’?

Some questions are difficult to answer, some are easier. All this however, has little to do with this ‘About Me’ page which is beginning to seem horridly like writing your own Matrimonial entry or obituary.

Here goes anyway,

Sudhir Syal is a qualified Computer Science Engineer, so qualified that he hasn’t written (thankfully) or been made to write a single line of code in his last 4 years.

His career than saw him take him a linearly un-linear route with him dabbling in Finance, Technology till finally making his way to the hallowed (cold) studios of ET NOW, where he is today the Editor and Co-Anchor of the Starting Up show on ET NOW. It sounds more glamorous than it is, I can assure you.

Another pet project of his is Proto.in, a platform where 15 of the most innovative start-ups in India get an opportunity to pitch to investors, customers and partners. Sudhir is the Chief Organizer of the event, a period which comes once in 2 years when there is so much screaming and shouting that most of his neighbors simply leave town.

Yes, he’s got nice neighbors. But you didn’t come here to read about them now did you? Go on. Read the blog.

I read on your blog about Don Quixante but I can’t find it anywhere. A friend of mine told me about a long time ago and I would like to read. I looked on Amazon but they only have Don Quixote. Where can I get it.
